Do you need a short or a long consultation?

  • Short consult (15 mins) – One medical issue to discuss.

Some consultations/procedures require more time for your doctor to adequately assess your needs.
If unsure what consultation length to book – Please contact reception:

Doctor Appointment Hobart

The length of consultation booking is best determined by your doctor as there may be underlying factors or complexities that may need to be explored further in order to provide you or your family members with the appropriate level of medical care and advice.

Prioritising medical issues – If you book a short consult (15 minutes) and have multiple issues to discuss your doctor will prioritise the most medically urgent issue. (e.g If a patient presents with shoulder pain and chest pain your doctor will prioritise the chest pain despite the patient being more worried about the shoulder pain).

Additional appointment booking – Your doctor may ask you to book another appointment if other medical issues or complexities need to be discussed and cannot be covered during your initial consultation.

Please note – Dr Haddadin does not do Work Cover or insurance medicals including MIIB.
